POM is a polymer obtained by the polymerization of formaldehyde. It is called polyoxymethylene in chemical structure and is generally known as ‘acetal’. It is a thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity and excellent mechanical property, dimensional stability, fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance, etc. Therefore, it is a representative engineering plastic material used as a substitute for metal mechanical parts.
